Seven Tips for writing a winning Seatrade Maritime Awards Entry from Marcus Hand

#1 - Make the most of the word count
You have 200 words in each section of the nomination form to
showcase why your business is worthy of an award.
The information you provide is the only information the judges have.

#2 - Do not go over the word limit!
Get straight to the point.

#3 - Read the entry criteria

It sounds simple, but make sure you know what our judges are looking for in each category before you start your submission.

#4 - Make it clear why your entry is a winner
Provide the bigger picture as well as the details.
This will help the judges get a clearer picture of your entry.

#5 - Take it seriously if you want to win
The entry process is simple, but don't rush your submission. Brainstorm with your colleagues,
maybe write a draft or two. A well thought-out piece stands out miles.

#6 - Explain the results
What did you achieve and how did this impact your business or the shipping and maritime industry?
Remember: be clear, coherent and concise.

#7 - Hit the deadline
Any entries submitted after the 5 January 2018 will not be accepted.
